Systems Infrastructure Engineer Private Sector

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 support for Windows-based environments.
• Manage Active Directory.
• Design, install, configure and manage VMware and Hyper-v environments.
• Oversee storage solutions and critical backup systems to ensure data security and availability.
• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, handle configuration, maintenance, and capacity planning.
• Support VPNs, WAN, and LAN systems to ensure stable and secure communications.
• Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and ensure system performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems to prevent downtime and ensure high availability.

Experience :

• A Minimum of  5 years experience in a Systems Infrastructure Engineer role
• 5+ years' experience with VMware.
• 5+ years' experience with Windows Server operating systems and Hyper-v.
• 5+ years’ expertise with Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• 5+ years' experience with storage solutions and critical backup systems.
• 5+ years’ experience in Cisco network architecture and related technologies.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco routers, Switches, VPNs and wireless systems in a Datacentre environment.
• Strong experience with firewall configuration and management.
• Solid understanding of cloud network technologies and ability to bridge traditional and cloud infrastructures.
• CCNP certification preferred
• Certifications  in Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator or Microsoft Certified: Systems Engineer would be a bonus
• Excellent communication skills , fluent English
• Full clean driving licence.
