SQL/Oracle DBA Public Sector

What’s involved:
- Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance
- Developing new database-centric functionality on existing software products.
- Creating technical and architectural documentation
- Troubleshooting changes/errors/modifications.
- Monitoring the performance of legacy systems
- Designing schemas, tables, and servers and set permissions for users to access them.
- Creating shell scripts
- Providing weekly progress reports on work assigned
What you need:
- 5+ years’ with SQL / Oracle Database technology
- Working with technologies such as MS SQL, Azure SQL, DB2 etc (or equivalent)
- Performing database maintenance and support activities
- Designing and configuring SQL Database Server Installations
- Designing, developing databases, using SQL Server 2016 or later.
- Managing the day to day tasks of the databased support and maintenance
- Working with ICT Teams supporting SQL Server environments.
- Must have Irish citizenship
