Solution Architect - Telecommunications Private Sector

• Our client is a leading telecommunications company looking for a Solution Architect that will play a crucial part in advancing their IT/Technology Architecture and Transformation practice.

Role and Responsibilities:

• You will work closely with the Solution Architect Manager to help refine their architecture standards and methodologies.

What’s involved:

• Engage with customers, clients, and stakeholders to gather solution requirements effectively.
• Create and maintain Solution Architecture and System Architecture documentation, including sketches, diagrams, and models, to ensure clear communication and alignment among users and engineers throughout the project evolution.
• Ensure all architectural products and related components remain up to date, avoiding obsolescence or significant lag.
• Lead component delivery team(s) and oversee backlog prioritization, planning, implementation, and delivery within an agile framework.
• Design and deploy cloud-based solutions for the SaaS platform using the Azure cloud ecosystem, showcasing expertise in cloud architecture and implementation features. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and sales teams in solution selling activities, understanding prospects and demonstrating the solution's suitability.
• Execute end-to-end systems integrations with various 3rd party systems and applications using cloud-based services such as middlewares.

What you need:

• Strong project management and leadership experience
• Experience and understanding of a wide variety of technologies, architecture design, programming skills.
• Highly skilful in OSS system architecture, BSS System Architecture, designs, specifications for service provisioning, design, and configuration.
• Knowledge of industry standards, technology standards & architecture frameworks as TAM, eTOM, SID, TOGAF, SOA, Web 2.0 is a plus.
• Experience in OSS/BSS MVNO Domain, Customer Management, Order Management, Billing Management, Product/Service/Resource Management, Application Integration and Data Management is a plus.
• Good experience in designing Micro services in a container, orchestration, CI/CD based environment.
• Good knowledge about system integrations tools and technologies (in a high-volume environment)
• Knowledge about productivity tools like version control systems (GIT / SVN etc.), project tracking systems like JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP and Hybrid tools like Google Anthos
• Knowledge of data warehousing, SQL/NoSQL databases
