What’s involved
- As a Product Engineer, you’ll be integral to our client's mission to revolutionise data security and compliance infrastructure. You’ll work on:
- System Design and Encryption: Building systems for data encryption and decryption, handling tens of thousands of requests per second.
- Payments Orchestration: Developing tools for multi-PSP (Payments Service Provider) orchestration.
- AI for Compliance: Utilising Generative AI to automate complex compliance tasks, previously managed manually.
- Custom Serverless Runtimes: Creating serverless runtimes for Python and Node.js to optimise application performance.
- Confidential Computing: Leveraging confidential computing to ensure the highest security standards in the cloud.
- High-Throughput Networking: Working with networking protocols to develop high-throughput forward and reverse proxies.
- User-Centric Product Development: Engaging directly with end-users to create features tailored to developer needs.
What you need
- Familiarity with Rust, Node.js, and AWS is beneficial, though proven engineering skills are more important than specific technology experience.
- A generalist engineering background with experience shipping across a complex stack.
- Experience building or interest in high-throughput distributed systems, particularly within the payments or fintech ecosystem.
- Background in developing developer-centric tooling or APIs.
- Ability to tackle challenges like global state replication, data consistency, and performance optimisation.
- Enthusiasm for working with varied languages, frameworks, and programming paradigms.
