Senior Project Manager Public Sector

What’s involved:

• Relationship manager for BIDA team with respect to significant capital programmes and acquisition of funding
• Ensure cross-team collaboration between BIDA team, the business and the broader IT Teams
• Use expertise to provide guidance and leadership to BIDA team and other technical initiatives
• Roll out service management and planning to all business units/directorates
• Structuring the federated programme of work ensuring appropriate balance across key stakeholders
• Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure adherence to approved standards and policies

What you need:

• 6+ years’ Project Management experience, of which four years must be at a Senior PM role.
• Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes.
• Sound business case development and approvals skills.
• Good knowledge of programme and project management methods including MSP and PRINCE2.
• Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the programme.
• MUST HAVE Honours Degree or Postgraduate Diploma (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent)
• Must be based in Ireland
