Senior Business Analyst Public Sector

What’s involved

• Analyse and document current business processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency
• Gather, define, and manage business and technical requirements across IT projects (software, systems, infrastructure)
• Produce detailed documentation including process maps, business cases, impact assessments, and specifications
• Work with stakeholders across the organisation to drive change, facilitate workshops, and support decision-making
• Support delivery across the full lifecycle, including testing (UAT), implementation, issue resolution, and post go-live support

 What’s needed

• 7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in IT environments, ideally across complex programmes
• Experience working across Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models with strong understanding of SDLC
• Ability to engage stakeholders and translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and modern architectures (e.g. microservices, cloud)
• Strong communication, organisation, and delivery focus, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Public Sector experience is desirable
