Payments Solution Architect Private Sector

Overview:

• Join a team of payment solution architects, working in a hybrid environment to deliver cutting-edge solutions across various payment types and jurisdictions. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of technical solutions, collaborating with architecture and business teams to ensure effective, innovative, and strategic delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and define solution architectures, ensuring alignment with established roadmaps, strategies, principles, and standards.
• Create essential architecture deliverables, including Architecture Designs, inputs for Architecture Review Boards, and Security Reviews, ensuring timely approvals.
• Guide solution designs by engaging with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring solutions align with business needs, are fit for purpose, and deliver value.

What We’re Looking For:

Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience in solution architecture, with a strong background in the payment domain (domestic and cross-border payments, SWIFT messages, ISO20022).
• Familiarity with middleware technologies such as JBOSS, WebSphere, MQ, and Mulesoft.
• Knowledge of database technologies, including Oracle Exadata and MongoDB.

Industry Experience:

• In-depth understanding of payment lifecycles, risk management, and relevant technologies.
• Experience with payment engines from the Finastra Suite (e.g., GPPSP, GPPHC, GPPMP, GPP Fusion) is highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
