Junior Security Specialist Private Sector

What’s Involved

• Support and administer Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and SIEM tools
• Assist with security incident response, log source onboarding, and tool optimization
• Work alongside Senior Engineers to improve endpoint security posture
• Help manage privileged access, antivirus tools, and database security
• Respond to incidents and contribute to investigations and problem resolution
• Support the deployment of new security technologies and infrastructure
• Participate in Cybersecurity projects and continuous improvement initiatives

 
What You’ll Need

• 3-5 years' experience in IT, preferably with exposure to Information Security
• Hands-on experience with EDR platforms (e.g., FireEye HX, Defender, Trellix)
• Knowledge of SIEM tools and log source onboarding
• Technical background with a strong understanding of endpoint and network security
• Familiarity with security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, GDPR
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
