  • Our client is currently looking for an IT Security Manager to join the IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing operations, both internal and external facing. This role encompasses information security strategy, technology decisions and implementation, as well as liaising with the business. The IT Security Manager will also oversee IT compliance, audit actions, and the IT Risk Register in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement enterprise security strategy, identifying key risks and preparing an annual operational roadmap.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Information Security program, ensuring compliance with regulations and third-party assessment requirements.
  • Manage security incidents, conduct post-incident analysis, and report findings to senior management and the board.
  • Lead cybersecurity training initiatives for staff, contractors, and third parties.
  • Assess and implement emerging cybersecurity technologies while advising internal teams.
  • Monitor internal and external threats, conduct regular security testing, and adjust security measures accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, including PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO27001, and NIS2 legislation.
  • Manage third-party security vendors and oversee audit processes.
  • Support performance management processes and uphold Health and Safety standards.

What You Need:

  • The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
  • Minimum of 10+ years in IT infrastructure/application roles, with at least 5+ years in the IT Security field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Experience with Operational Technology is a strong advantage.
