Disaster Recovery Specialist Private Sector

What’s involved:

• Create and maintain DR and business continuity plans for both cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premise systems.
• Plan and execute DR drills and simulations to ensure preparedness, meeting RTO/RPO objectives.
• Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and ensure systems are protected with failover and redundancy mechanisms.
• Utilize cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure) to design robust and highly available architectures with automated backup and recovery
• Ensure adherence to DR standards and organizational policies, maintaining detailed documentation for audits and reviews.
• Work closely with internal teams (security, DevOps, infrastructure) and third-party vendors to integrate and improve DR strategies.

What you need:

• 5+ years working as a disaster recovery Specialist
• Strong knowledge of DR principles, risk assessment,
• Strong experience in RTO/RPO development, high-availability architectures, and data backup/replication.
• Strong experience designing and implementing disaster recovery solutions using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills
