Data Governance Analyst Role and Responsibilities:
Our client is looking for a Data Governance Analyst to drive the implementation of a robust and practical data governance strategy. In this role, you’ll ensure stakeholder buy-in, integrate governance tools, and lead governance initiatives across the organisation. Implement and advise on data governance strategies and best practices
Ensure stakeholder engagement and buy-in
Lead governance activities across business areas and projects
Define data quality standards and create common data dictionaries
Monitor and report data incidents while mitigating risk
Assess data maturity in projects and provide recommendations
What You’ll Need:
5+ years of experience in data governance and management
Strong knowledge of data governance, data cataloging, and MDM tools
Experience developing and implementing data governance strategies
Ability to engage with clients at both working and strategic levels
Independent initiative and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Honours degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field
