Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems to meet the changing needs of the business
- Manage the implementation of new systems and upgrades
- Consult with internal clients and external partners to gather requirements about program needs, objectives, functions and features
- Develop standard and ad-hoc reports for Arachas management team
- Develop and maintain procedures and policies
- Implementation of best practices
- Other projects as assigned by the team lead
What you need
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 2 + years commercial Visual Studio: C# development – may consider VB.NET.
- Microsoft SQL Server and reporting solutions – SSRS, Microsoft Report Viewer
- Experience with software engineering best practices (code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, release and change management)
- Experience with web services
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft desktop products, especially Access, Excel & Word
- Knowledge of project management strategy, such as Agile
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving and coding skills.
- Knowledge of Azure, or other cloud computing platform is desirable
- Knowledge of Team Foundation Server, GIT or other source control system is desirable
- Prior experience working on financial services systems is preferable
What’s on offer:
Excellent salary depending on experience €40k - €48k with excellent benefits package including , Bonus up to 10%, Health Cover, Contributory Pension, 5% employee, 5% employer, Life Cover.
